- Do you ship overseas?
Unfortunately, The Library Shop can not fulfill any international orders at this time.
- I made a purchase online but I have not received my confirmation email, what should I do?
Our website sends the confirmation email automatically when the order is placed. Sometimes these type of emails are directly placed in your Spam Folder. Please double check there before contacting us.
- The UPS tracking hasn't updated in days, has my package shipped?
We are a small staff processing a very large volume of orders, so there is a delay between when orders are processed, packed, and picked up by UPS.
UPS does not pick up from us on the weekends, so orders packed Friday ship the following Monday.
- Can I include a gift message to my order?
Yes, there is a 'Leave a Note with Your Order' box that will appear in the cart page. You can write your gift message and we will be able to see it when processing your order.
- I would not like the price/receipt enclosed with the gift. Is that an option?
We do not offer a gift option during the checkout process but our packing slips do not include any prices. We highly recommend including the packing slip in case of encountering any issues with the order.
- Do you offer in-store pickup for online orders?
Yes, in-store pickup for orders placed on our website is available at our shop. Pickup days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. For more information, please click HERE.
- Can I use multiple discount codes at once?
Stacking discount codes is not permitted. Only one offer can be used at a time.
- What are my payment options?
For all in-store, online, and phone orders the Library Shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover as payment.
- Do you offer expedited shipping?
For information please call 212-621-0570 during regular office hours or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include in your query the items you would like to purchase and the zip code for the shipping address.
- What do I do if an item arrived damaged?
Please email email@example.com with photos of the damage so we can assist you.
- I’m a Friend (or Corporate Member) of the Library, what discount do I receive?
Friends of The New York Public Library receive a 10% discount on all purchases excluding gift wrapping and shipping. To receive your discount, please enter the discount code provided by the Friends Office (Note: this is not a Library Card number). If you do not know your discount code, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Corporate Members receive the same discount with the same limitations when they enter their Corporate Discount Code.
