Georgia O'Keeffe (1887–1986) was an American modernist artist best known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. Called the "Mother of American modernism," she explored abstraction in work that incorporated elements of modernist movements such as Surrealism, but in a style uniquely her own.
Artist and illustrator Sarah Papworth's “The Artist Series” is a collection of evocative and vibrant images celebrating artists from around the world. Each plate is individually gift boxed and crafted of melamine, a petroleum-free material that is virtually unbreakable and dishwasher safe.
Sarah Papworth lives and works in the Cotswolds, United Kingdom, where she studied fine art and textile design. For the last ten years, Sarah has been recognized for her work in textiles and homewares as well as her charming illustrations in art books such as I Know an Artist, written by Susie Hodges.
