The Library Shop partners with the Italian leather company Natalizia on NYPL-exclusive products that feature vintage stamps from the Library. Here is a rare opportunity to observe their process and to take home a leather item with a personalized monogram!
Artisans will demonstrate how leather is treated and manipulated, the process of debossing and gilding, and binding techniques for books and journals. Step up to the artisan’s bench, select from an array of vibrant, hand-marbleized papers, and watch Natalizia's artisans assemble and bind your custom journal right before your eyes.
Whether you want to witness the live artistry yourself or secure a deeply personal, handmade masterpiece for your holiday gifting, you won’t want to miss their return. Join us at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building from August 3 to August 5 to experience the magic of Old-World techniques for crafting handmade leather goods.

Please note personalized monogram is only available for in-store purchases. Natalizia Artisans will be in-store from Monday, August 3 through Wednesday, August 5. The Pop-Up will be open from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. Customers will not be allowed to touch any of the machines and/or tools used by the artisans.
