Keep your keys organized! The naturalist and artist John James Audubon traveled extensively throughout the U.S. during the early 1800s, endeavoring to document every indigenous bird species. This task culminated in 1827 with the publication of his Birds of America. This enamel charm keychain is inspired by Audubon's hand-colored illustrations, which were rendered through etching, engraving, and aquatint print processes.
Birds of America is part of the General Research Division, whose collections are primarily focused in the humanities and social sciences and include literary and scholarly works from the United States, Latin America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
